MORRIS _ Allen James 1934 - 2005 Al Morris, beloved husband of Carol Morris, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at the age of 71 years. Al was born and raised in Calgary. He attended Ramsay, Balmoral and Western Canada schools. After attending Mount Royal College, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Geological Engineering. Al worked in the oil and gas industry for forty years in Alberta, Saskatchewan and the U.S.A. He was an accomplished athlete, excelling in basketball, football and golf. Along with his loving wife of forty-seven years, Al is survived by his children, Donna Morris (Frank Hennessey), Leigh Morris (Carolyn Terakita) and Diane Morris; and five grandchildren, Bryan, Erica, Mikiko, Tomiko, and Reid. He is also survived by his sister Joyce Shorten (Allan); father-in-law Stan Murray; as well as a loving extended family. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the ICU, CCU, Unit 82 and Emergency at Foothills Medical Centre for their exemplary care.
