Allan Kent Whittle, 46, of 356 Belt Road, died Thursday, June 19, 2003.Born in Russell Springs, Ky., he was a son of Garnet Thomas Whittle, of Russell Springs, Ky., and the late Agnes Rexroat Whittle.Mr. Whittle was an employee of General Electric for the past 18 years and was of the Baptist faith.In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Ryan Allan Whittle and Christopher Edward Whittle, both of Greenville, and their mother, Lynn Whittle Stover; brothers, Phillip Whittle, and wife, Donna, of Joplin, Mo., Paul Whittle, and wife, Mary, of Jamestown, Ky., Morris Whittle, of Russell Springs, Ky., Mitchell Whittle, and wife, Annette, of Lexington, Ky., and Tommy Whittle, and wife, Debbie, of Russell Springs, Ky.; a number of nieces and nephews; and fiancee, Pamela Moore.Visitation: 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.Service: 4 p.m. Sunday at Daybreak Community Church, with burial at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.Family members are at the home of Ed and Millie Tompkins, 11 Vista Drive, Greenville.Memorials may be made to National Alliance to End Homelessness, 1518 K St. NW, Suite 206, Washington, DC 20005.
