JOHNSON, Allan Wayne May 30, 1944 - December 22, 2006 At the age of 62, after a difficult and courageous battle with cancer, Allan is peacefully at rest. He will be sadly missed by Judy, his wife of forty-two years; as well as his sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Shelly and David and Susan; and his grandchildren, Julia, Eric, Chloe and Hanna. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Sharon Johnson and niece and nephew, Linda (Dave) and Dan; as well as Judy's sisters and brother, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Allan was born in Calgary to the late Mary and Reg Johnson and lived here all his life except for four years spent in Rocky Mountain House. He is predeceased by his brothers, Jim in 2004 and Barnard in 1940. He left us far too soon and will be deeply missed. A Memorial Service/Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Interment of Allan's cremated remains will be at Queen's Park Cemetery.
