Alicia Mary Ward, 23, of Medway, died unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, from injuries sustained in an accident. She was the beloved daughter of James J. and Marjorie R. (Nye) Ward of Medway and loving mother of Ellenor Jayne. Born in Framingham on Oct. 9, 1986, Alicia was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Holliston High School in 2004. Alicia loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter. Besides her parents and daughter, she is survived by her brother, Andrew Ward and his girlfriend Laura Miller of Allston and her grandparents, John and Jayne Ward of Medway, and Rev. Dr. George and Carolyn Nye of Newfane, Vt. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Wednesday, Aug. 18, at the Medway Village Church, 170 Village St., in Medway at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Aug. 17, from 5-8 p.m., at the Ginley-Crowley Funeral home, 3 Barber St., Medway, www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com. Burial will take place privately at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
