MAYVILLE, Alice "Bubsy" (nee Goodwin) January 9, 1925 – February 3, 2014With overwhelming sadness we announce the peaceful passing of a dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother at WRH Met Campus. Loving wife of the late Robert (1972) and companion of the late Joseph Marn (1987). Beloved mother of Ron Mayville (Carol) and Kevin Mayville (Nancy). Predeceased by her siblings Edna Goodwin, Shirley Clayton, Doug Goodwin and wife late (Doreen). Loving grandmother to Sherry Mayville (Paul), the late Kathy Greene (2004) and Robert Mayville (Jessica). Great grandmother of Miranda Ingebrigtson (Josh), Ryley and Corey Greene. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Alice was an avid bingo player and liked a good story or joke. She loved her family and friends and was always the life of the party. Her lemon meringue pies were legendary. She was the self proclaimed "Mayor of Charlotte Street". Cremation services have taken place. Special thanks to the Doctors and nurses on 6 North at Met Hospital for your care. Mom said she had a great life and that life was too short so have a good time everyday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army Windsor would be appreciated by the family. A Celebration of Alice's life will take place at the Fogolar Furlan Club on Saturday February 8 at 11:30 AM.
