JOHNSTON, Alice Jean - Peacefully at her home in Sutton, on Friday, August 14, 2009, at the age of 83 years. Alice Johnston (nee Hindle), beloved wife of the late Robert A. Johnston. Dear mother of Janet Popp (Phil Sefton) and Sharon Shimizu (Paul Smith), all of Sutton. Predeceased by her daughter Donna Harsell and son-in-law Gordon Harsell. Loving Nana of Jennifer, Patricia (Enzo), Robert, Breanna and Jason and great Nana of Nicholas, Jessica, Kyle and Amanda. Dear sister of Philip Hindle (Phyllis) and Kathy Howell and sister-in-law of Davina Hindle and Jim Abell. Predeceased by her sister Isabel Abell, brothers Fred and Chuck Hindle and sister-in-law Shirley Hindle. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
