Alice H. Farmer, 101, of Landrum died August 7, 2005, at Piedmont Nursing and Rehab Center. A native of Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late John and Teenie Corn Hawkins and wife of the late Clyde Farmer.She was a lifelong member of Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Louie Farmer and wife Ruth of Landrum and Hugh Farmer and wife Sylvia of Greer; five granddaughters, Sherrie, Tammy, Joy, Sandra and Debbie, three great-granddaughters, Emily, Kristin and Grace and a great-grandson, Titus.She was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Steve Stone, the Rev. Drew Hines and the Rev. David Hayes.Burial will be in the church cemetery.
