Alfred J. LaVoie Alfred J. LaVoie SOUTH ATTLEBORO Alfred J. LaVoie, 86, passed away Saturday in the Emerald Bay Manor, Cumberland. He was the husband of the late Anna M. (Ross) LaVoie. They had been married for 61 years. Born in Milford, MA, he was the son of the late Alfred A. and Elizabeth (O'Neill) LaVoie. He resided in South Attleboro for the past 24 years, previously residing in Bellingham. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during WWII. He wsa an Auto Service Manager for various Chevrolet dealerships in the area for many years, retiring in 1977. He leaves two daughters, Carol Mooney and husband Paul of Cumberland, and Jean Hedley and husband Michael of Warwick, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son Donald, one great-grandson one brother, and one sister. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, 8AM to 10:30AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
