Peacefully in hospital at Almonte surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 13, 2003. Alex McKay of Almonte, age 77 years Dearly loved husband of Eva Lucy Davey and much loved dad of Gerald Alexander "Jerry" of Ottawa and Marilyn Jean Gerhardt (Willie) of Brampton. Dear brother of Charles Lionel (friend of Rose) of Almonte and Lena Mabel Weir (Lyle) of Carleton Place. Predeceased by 3 sisters, Mrs. Edna Jean Mains, Mrs. Maude Ann Raycroft and Ethel May McKay. Also survived by his brother-in-law Lester Mains, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte, Ontario. for visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Gerardo Oudri officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Middleville. Donations in memory of Alex may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Almonte General Hospital and would be most appreciated by his family.
