Sadly we announce the passing of our father. At the age of 92, Albert passed away at Leduc hospital.He was predeceased by his son Romeo in 1980, and wife Rose in 1988. He is survived by his three children, Angele (Pat) Rudiger, Gisele (Lou) Horvat, and Alvin Carrier. He leaves six grandchildren as well as five great-grandchildren. Albert was fortunate to have enjoyed many special interests. A love of music was central in his life. He sang, learned to yodel, played guitar and mandolin. For many years he and his wife Rose were ardent square dancers. During World War Two he served in the army in Holland. This was the start of an interest in World War Two history as well as a love for travelling. Throughout his life Albert valued learning through reading or watching documentaries. At the age of eighty-eight he discovered Sudoku and spent many hours consumed by it. Family was a prime concern to him – Dad always had his family''s interests at heart. His passing will leave a big hole in our hearts.
