FOREST DALE - Agnes Margaret "Aggie" Reed, 83, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at her home. She was born Nov. 1, 1931, in Pittsford, the daughter of George and Leola (Andrus) Mahoney. She graduated in 1950 from Brandon High School. On June 26, 1954, she married Raymond Francis Reed Jr. in Rutland. Mr. Reed died Dec. 9, 1997. In earlier years, Mrs. Reed worked as a cashier at the A&P Store in Brandon. She was later employed at Baker Brush and Tucel Industries, both in Forest Dale. She was forced to retire due to illness in 1989. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon. Survivors include a daughter, Kimi Reed, and a son, Raymond Reed III, both of Brandon; three brothers, Edward Mahoney of Bennington, Kenneth Mahoney of Missouri and Alvin Mahoney of Salem, Mass.; her companion, Joanne Scarborough; two grandsons and two great-grandsons; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by five sisters, Jessie Beauregard, Lillian Martin, Grace Rivers, Frances Reed and Hazel Gibeault, and three brothers, Arthur Wescott, and George and Robert Mahoney. Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon. The Rev. Vincent Onunkwo will be the celebrant. Private graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery.
