COHOES Agnes Elizabeth Galarneau, 99, of Cohoes, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Chamberland Galarneau. She had lived most of her life in Cohoes and was a communicant of both St. Rita/Sacred Heart and St. Joseph churches in Cohoes. She had worked at the New York State Dept. of Tax & Finance as a principal computer operator retiring many years ago. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity and kindness. She was the sister of the late Frank, Joseph, Nelson, Thomas, Lawrence and Armand Galarneau and Mary O'Connor. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Marra and Boivin Funeral Homes, corner of Remsen and Columbia St's., Cohoes and at 9:00 from St. Joseph's Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 p.m. Those who wish may make donations in Miss Galarneau's memory to St. Rita/Sacred Heart Church or St. Joseph's Church Restoration fund.
